TREASURE ISLAND RESORT
Treasure Island has been busy preparing its assessment of the damage caused after Tropical Cyclone Evan. The structural damage caused during the Cyclone is now becoming more quantified. We are well through much of the simple repairs and have completed the island clean up.
The next phase is tackling the big projects which include repairs to the bures, bar and flambe restaurant roofs, chapel and the poolside decking. Due to the struggle in securing material for the repairs and uncertainty around build timelines we have opted to let you all know a worst case scenario. Treasure Island Resort will revise its opening date to 1 December 2013. Whilst it is our intent to open prior to this date we would rather fix an absolute worst case scenario rather than continuing to postpone opening dates, enabling you to best plan your future bookings for the Mamanuca's.
