Fijian Weddings are internationally recognised and are legally binding.

Registration

All couples must register their intent to marry with the registry office in Nadi, Suva or Lautoka. Each couple will be escorted to the registry office, which is open from 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday (closed on public holidays). Registration formalities take about 15 minutes.
Please allow three working days on arrival in Fiji to obtain your licence (which is valid for 21 days).

Documentation

The Bride and groom must provide the following items:

• Original birth certificates
• Decree Absolute (divorce papers) if relevant
• Passports
• Death certificate of deceased former spouse
• Officially witnessed consent of parents (if under 21 yrs)

Confirmatory Letter

Single/Marital Status Letter

Citizens of the following countries do not require a marital status letter: New Zealand, Australia, UK, USA and Canada.

Citizens from all other countries are required to provide a letter confirming marital status.  The Registrar Generals office of wherever the couple are provides the confirmatory letter and this is to confirm their current marital status i,e single/divorced/widowed. The above is to be presented at the registry office in Nadi, Lautoka or Suva to apply for the license.

Treasure LaiLai Wedding Package

Cost: FJD$1098

Package includes:

• Airport meet & greet and transfer to Fiji registry office for wedding licence

• Wedding co-ordination including assistance on day of wedding
• Preparation and decoration of the beach wedding venue

Treasure Fiji Wedding Package

Cost: FJD$1350

Package includes:

All rates are quoted in Fijian dollars and are inclusive of  20 % Government tax (VAT 15% + Hotel Turnover Tax 5%) except when stated otherwise.

Wedding Chapel

Treasures’ wedding chapel is multi denominational and available for wedding services and renewal of vows.
