Announcing Bounty Island Fire Walking Excursion Wednesday and Saturdays

Bounty Island Resort has recently commenced the mystical and uniquely Fijian Cultural days every Wednesday and Saturday's this included speed boat transfers, Fijian medicine lessons, Fire Walking presented by the only tribe in Fiji that has been provided with the power to walk on hot stones. This is followed by a Lovo(underground cooked) lunch concluding with a traditional Meke(Fijian song and dance) presentation.

Canoes, Hobie Cats and Windsurfing

Canoes, wind surfers, spy boards and hobie cats are provided by Subsurface watersports for you to explore and enjoy the local environment. Charges apply.

Coral Viewing Trip

Explore the beauty of our oceans while relaxing on our glass bottom boats. Departs daily at 10.00 am. Free of charge for Treasure Island guests. (Available from 15th January 2011)

Deep Sea Fishing and Trawling

This can be arranged for an early morning, evening, half day or even full day. Bookings can either be made through our marine shop or with our public relations officer. Charges apply.

Fish Feeding Trip

Come and join us in hand feeding our little friends on the reef. Afternoon trips depart on Sunday, Wednesday & Friday at 1.45 pm. Free of charge. Meet down at the Resort Reception.

Hand line Fishing Trip

Morning trips (6.30 am – 8.30 am) are available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday. Please book with Subsurface Watersports office. Charges apply.

Island Hopping Trip

Visit our beautiful neighbouring island resorts in the Mamanuca region, including Plantation, Musket Cove, Malolo, Castaway and Mana - stopping half an hour in every resort. Charges apply.

We can also arrange: Bounty Island daytrips, Sandbank Island day cruise; and island sightseeing by helicopter or seaplane; Charges apply.

Scuba Diving & Motorised Water-Sports

Scuba Diving facilities (beginner and advanced levels), in addition to day & night reef & wreck dives are arranged through the island's PADI Dive Shop.

If you are a beginner, you may wish to take part in a Discover Scuba program, while the more experienced can join a shark feeding dive. The Fiji Islands provides all the diving attractions you can imagine.

Our resident dive shop, Subsurface Diving, also provides a range of motorised watersports for your enjoyment including:

  • para flying
  • jet skiing
  • water skiing
  • knee boarding
  • giant tobogganing

Please note that fees apply to motorised water sports and scuba diving.

Sea Safari Trip

For a cultural and historical perspective, come and visit the beautiful village of Viseisei, home of the Nakelo people – where our forefathers landed in the early days of settlement. See the monument to Christian missionaries, visit the shell markets and cruise along to Bounty Island for some lunch & snorkelling.

Explore Fiji’s largest market at Lautoka on the main island of Viti Levu.

Snorkelling Trip

Take a trip to nearby Treasure Island for shell collecting and snorkelling, departing 9.00 am on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and 2.00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Charges apply.

Liti Village Tour

While minimum numbers apply, take a speed boat trip to Vuda Marina and be guided through a day of history including the early arrival to Fiji of the indigenous Fijians, visiting our host’s local school, bath in the local mud pools, visit Nadi town for lunch. Charges apply.
